Referral Policy for Suicidal Ideation and Other Mental Health Concerns

At Impact Vision, we are committed to providing Christ-centered, ethical, and professional care for individuals struggling with suicidal ideation and other mental health challenges. Given the deep level of trust our clients place in us, all referrals to external practitioners—including psychiatrists, psychologists, medical doctors, or other mental health providers—must go through a written approval process before being given to a client.

Referral Approval Process

  • All referral requests must be submitted in writing to support portal for review and approval by executive team.
  • We do not encourage or advise clients to seek out providers on their own, as they rely on us to direct them to professionals who are:
    • Vetted for their expertise and credibility.
    • Aligned with our biblical worldview and values.
    • Highly reputable with a track record of ethical and effective care.
  • Once the executive team has reviewed and approved a referral, the counselor will provide the client with the appropriate provider’s information and facilitate a smooth handoff.

This policy ensures that every referral reflects our commitment to holistic, faith-based, and high-quality care, helping clients receive support from professionals who will uphold their faith and well-being.
