We recognize that some counseling organizations provide a free 15-minute consultation in order to see if the counselor is a good fit.
Unfortunately due to our reduced non-profit suggested contribution rates whenever we do intakes or initial consultation we request a contribution of $85.00 to secure a 50-minute appointment.
Our executive team recognized that our counselors are very compassionate and it's impossible for them to do a 15 minute consultation without it turning into a 50 to 100 minute counseling session.
In order to protect the empathy and generous hearts of our counselors/coaches/specialist who always go above and beyond our executive team had to establish this policy of all appointments need to be paid for unless they receive a scholarship. But even with scholarships someone else is paying for it on their behalf. Thank God!
Since most of the specialist have families and personal expenses we found that it was vital for them to protect their time and for the clients who are seeking consultation to value their time and the years of wisdom and training that it's taken them to become certified as Christian, Biblical, Pastoral, Financial, Wellness Counselors, Coaches or Specialist.
